Be aware that these lamps do not have a front cover. A capacitive dropper is used with these which means that potentially mains voltage is applied to the front of these lights. Only change these lights with the power off and even then be careful in case the wiring in your house is incorrect. Do not touch them when they are turned on. A simple plastic cover would make these lights excellent value and worth buying, but as they are, either choose a different bulb (with a cover) or be extremely careful. Yes they do have a good light output, but not as much as other 7W LED lamps I have, so the quoted output is somewhat dubious.
