I use this to charge 6 500mah lipos that I use with my hubsan mini quad. You have to do a minor modification to the cable in order to charge the batteries as if they were a 6S pack. You will notice that in the connector, in the ends there should a red wire, and in the other side a black wire. You should cut the INSULATION ONLY of them, and them use the alligator clip and connect the RED with RED (+) and BLACK with BLACK (-) Do not power your charger, first connect the balance cable to the 6S socket in your charger, attach the alligator clips in the + and - cables (opposite outer ends of the connector), and then the batteries very carefully not to reverse polarity, and then turn on the charger. Since 6 500mah batteries in series should be a 3000mah 6S lipo, I would charge it at 3.0A (1C), but I received a advice to use 0.5A instead (1C of the original single 1S 500mah cell). I still don't know if I can charge them with 3A, but I rather play safe and use the 0.5A instead. I'll upload some pictures to have a better idea about the cable. Cheers!
